Louisville's new bridges employ a stay cable design which intrigued me from the start. This show featured the bridge elements and the iconic forms of the the many highway structures as well.

We raised our family in Crescent Hill and the L&N tracks were at the end of the street we lived on. The rumbling of the train was a warm and ongoing presence. This body of work stems from waiting times while the crossing gates we're down and graffiti ridden cars rolled by. A time of contemplation and consideration.
